Hot air balloon rides are a perfect way to celebrate birthdays, engagements, weddings, anniversaries, retirements, employee awards, or any other special occasion. At the end of the flight, all passengers can participate in a champagne celebration with the property owners wherever the balloon lands. Passengers will also receive keepsakes to remember their very special flight.
Flight times
Hot air balloon flights can occur twice a day, just after sunrise and about an hour prior to sundown. During these times the air is most stable which will provide a safe and enjoyable flight. We offer sunset hot air balloon rides weekdays and sunrise and sunset hot air balloon rides weekends and holidays.
Flights are guaranteed to be a minimum of 30 minutes in length; however the pilot in command will fly as long as he or she safely can. An average flight is 45 minutes to 1 hour in length. Fuel consumption, weather conditions, and landing availability can vary the length of each flight.
The entire adventure takes anywhere from 2.5 to 3 hours from the time we meet at the launch site, inflate the balloon, fly, land and pack up the balloon, enjoy a traditional champagne celebration, and return to the launch site.
Best time of year to fly
Balloons can fly all year and every season has something different to offer. Late spring through late fall provides the most enjoyable and scenic flights.
Weather conditions
Balloons don't fly in rain, fog, snow or wind above 7 mph. Balloons don't fly when there is a threat of thunderstorms in the area. There are other conditions that can affect the decision to fly or not to fly. These factors are taken into consideration by the pilot to ensure a safe flight. The pilot in command has the final decision if a flight will take place. If your scheduled flight is canceled, the flight will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Cancellation / Refund Policy
It is our strict policy NOT to offer a refund.
We can only carry limited number of passengers at a time, and by making your reservation, you have filled a spot preventing us from making other reservations. In the event that passengers need to cancel a flight, they must contact Endless Mountains Hot Air Balloons, Inc. a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Cancellations less than 48 hours of the meeting time will result in forfeiture of the flight deposit. If a cancellation is made 48 hours or more in advance of the flight, the flight will be rescheduled. No refund will be given.
If the weather does not allow us to fly (a decision determined by the pilot), no refund is offered. However, we will reschedule your flight at a time available to both parties.
We understand that unexpected hardships do occur and will review each circumstance on a case-by-case basis. After a review of the cancellation circumstances and if it is deemed reasonable, a refund will be issued. Endless Mountains Hot Air Balloons, Inc. reserves the right to retain a $75.00 processing fee of your deposit.
